Parents note after an absence:

On the day of a student's absence, parents/guardians are required to call the school attendance office at 469-742-9102 and inform the school of the absence. In order for the absence to be deemed excused, the student should provide the school with a written note from the parent and/or doctor informing us of the exact reason for the absence. The student is required to bring the note to the attendance clerk upon his/her return to school. All notes must be brought to school within two days after returning to school.

If the note is not brought within two (2) school days the absence will remain unexcused. The school will accept up to (3) parent notes a semester. Any subsequent absence will result in the student being required to present a doctor's statement for the absence to be excused.
